Born and raised in Queens, New York, Laurel Cole is a 25 year old Stony Brook University graduate with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. Realizing during high school that helping others was both enjoyable and necessary for the community, she began to take steps towards a path of service. Admitted as a student through the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) at Stony Brook, and gaining a new family of students and friends, it was clear that each child has a story and deserves a chance to succeed past societal expectations; assisting the youth in finding the path to their purpose is just one of many pieces to the bigger picture.
